Interlock Sealing Toronto, measured before pricing

Fading pavers, empty joints and weeds can point to more than a worn surface. We inspect your driveway, patio or walk first, then provide an itemized estimate with materials and labour split out. A phone quote is a guess because low areas, drainage and joint condition can change the scope.

Interlock sealing for worn surfaces

A tired driveway or patio may need cleaning, joint work, repair, or may not be worth sealing yet. We inspect the surface on site, identify visible low or loose areas, and set out the scope before work is scheduled. Interlocking work is delivered through our subcontractors under Antex project management, with planting covered and waste removed.

Know what the surface needs first

We check whether faded colour and lost sand are surface wear or signs that pavers are moving. Sealing a sinking area can hide the issue for a while without fixing it.

One scope before work starts

Your dedicated contact measures the area and sends an itemized estimate. Materials and labour are split out, and the price changes only if you change the scope or materials.

Weather affects the schedule

Toronto freeze-thaw and spring rain keep water moving through joints and bedding. We give an approximate installation date and call if weather or material availability moves it.

Point At the Interlock Problem You Want Fixed

Most people know what is wrong with their interlock before they know what the treatment is called. Point to the signs you recognise, tell us where they show up, and we will measure the area on site before bringing the right sealing work and price into focus.

Five ways an interlock sealing job goes wrong

Homeowners often call when a coating has covered loose pavers, sand has washed out again, or the finish looks patchy. These risks matter before another wet, freezing winter. Each problem below has a matching step in our process.

How we prevent it

We inspect before recommending the scope

At the site visit, we look at joints, visible low spots and how water is affecting the area. If repairs or re-leveling are needed before sealing, they belong in the conversation before pricing.

Joint work is listed in the estimate

For interlock sanding and sealing, we state the preparation and materials included. That lets you compare the full scope rather than a number for a coating alone.

We plan around site conditions

We confirm the work area and discuss access and timing before it is scheduled. Your project manager provides daily progress updates and calls when an approximate date moves.

Preparation is priced, not assumed

Interlock cleaning and sealing starts with a site measurement and an itemized written estimate. It is held for two weeks, so you can review the materials and labour before approving anything.

We protect the work area

Floors, walls and planting are covered while work is underway. Waste is removed and dust is kept down, with one project manager responsible through the final walkthrough.

Five ways an interlock sealing job goes wrong

A failing base gets coated

Sunken or rocking pavers can signal base movement or drainage trouble. A surface treatment does not correct what is happening below the stones.

Joint sand is treated as an extra

Empty joints let weeds return and leave pavers with less support. The price can climb when the crew discovers that the joints need attention.

Moisture is ignored

Water in the joints or on the surface can affect the finished appearance. Toronto thaws and rain make timing part of the job, not an afterthought.

The quote hides the preparation

You may not know whether cleaning, minor repairs, furniture moving, materials, or cleanup are included until work has started.

Gardens and the house get sprayed

Unprotected planting, brick, siding and basement entrances can be exposed while the work is underway. Cleanup becomes your problem if it was not planned.

Services

Interlock work managed across Toronto

The right scope depends on whether the trouble is limited to the surface or extends to joints, drainage or settled stones. We measure the area and confirm what is visible on site. Because Toronto has repeated wet and freezing cycles, driveway interlock sealing should not be treated as a substitute for correcting low areas first.

Driveways

For paver driveways with faded surfaces or depleted joints. We inspect areas exposed to road salt, meltwater and vehicle traffic before setting the scope.

Walkways and entrances

For paths where weeds and washed-out joints affect the approach to the house. We plan protection around brick, planting and the entrance.

Patios

For backyard pavers that look worn or hold debris in the joints. Access and furniture are confirmed during the on-site visit.

Joint-sand renewal

For surfaces where joint material has visibly washed out. It suits stable pavers that need joint work assessed before any surface treatment.

Minor paver repairs

For isolated loose or low stones found during inspection. Interlocking repairs are delivered by subcontractors under Antex project management.

How we assess and manage the work

First, we visit the property and measure the area by laser. We look at the joints, surface condition, visible low spots and access, because a faded patio and a moving patio are not the same job. Within one to two business days, you receive an itemized estimate showing materials and labour. Nothing is ordered until you approve it. Where interlocking work is required, it is delivered through Antex subcontractors under our project management. We provide an approximate installation date and a written timeline where one applies. During the work, planting and nearby surfaces are covered, waste is removed and dust is kept down. Your project manager gives a progress update at the end of each working day. We inspect the completed scope with you at the final walkthrough, and the remaining 10% is paid after that walkthrough.

Inspect, measure, then price

We measure on site before pricing and identify visible concerns that may affect the scope. The estimate is itemized and valid for two weeks.

Confirm materials and timing

After approval, the project manager coordinates the required materials and work. Lead time depends on material availability, and weather can affect exterior scheduling.

Protect, check, and walk through

We cover planting and nearby surfaces, remove waste, and keep dust down. Your project manager completes the final check with you before the balance is due.

Sealing Choices Shown in Real Conditions

These completed sealing scopes show how different interlock surfaces can be assessed for fading, staining, joint-sand loss and recurring efflorescence. Each example pairs the visible issue with the setting and timing that shaped the work planned under Antex project management.

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

Clear scope beats a vague promise of quality

Anyone can hang a panel of glass. Antex is different in four ways that show up on your invoice, your calendar, and your final inspection.

The condition is seen first

We measure by laser on site and inspect the pavers before pricing. That gives you a chance to address visible low areas before choosing a surface treatment.

Measurement

The estimate shows the parts

Materials and labour are split out in writing and held for two weeks. There are no hidden charges, and the price moves only with scope or material changes.

How We Work

From worn pavers to a checked finished surface

You should know what is being addressed before a crew arrives. Our stages keep the scope visible, from the first inspection through cleanup and final walkthrough. If site conditions, weather or material availability affect timing, your project manager tells you rather than leaving you to chase an answer.

1

Inspect and quote

We visit, laser-measure and inspect the visible condition of the pavers, joints and surrounding area. The estimate arrives within one to two business days, itemized by materials and labour, and remains valid for two weeks. Approval comes before materials are ordered.

2

Plan the work

Your project manager confirms the approved scope, access and approximate installation date. Sealing interlocking stone may not be the right next step where visible settlement or drainage concerns need work first. Interlocking work is managed through our subcontractors.

3

Complete and check

The crew protects planting and nearby surfaces, keeps dust down and carts away waste. We check the completed scope with you at the final walkthrough. The last 10% payment is due after that walk, and care notes are provided.
