Pool Gates Toronto, measured before they are priced

A pool gate has to suit the opening, the mounting surface, and the enclosure around it. Antex measures your Toronto pool area on site before pricing, then sends an itemized estimate with materials and labour split out. We don't quote by phone because a slope, coping edge, existing fence, or concrete condition can change the work.

Pool gates for the whole enclosure

A pool gate may connect to glass, metal, masonry, concrete, or an existing fence line. We measure the opening and the surfaces beside it, confirm the applicable Ontario Building Code requirement on site, then order materials to those measurements. After installation, we remove waste and keep dust down around the yard.

A gate that belongs in the enclosure

The gate layout is considered with the adjoining fence, latch location, swing path, and access route, so the opening doesn't become an afterthought in an otherwise finished pool area.

The opening is measured on site

Your project manager laser-measures the opening, checks the mounting surfaces, and stays your dedicated contact through the final walkthrough. One person owns the details instead of passing them between crews.

Plan around spring demand

Pool work often needs to happen before the yard is in use. Material availability affects lead time, so an approximate installation date is discussed after the site visit and you get a call if it moves.

Point At the Pool Gate You Want

Most people know the pool gate they want before they know the names for all the parts. Choose the look and setup that feels right, and Antex will measure it on site, then bring the price back to the actual opening and deck.

Five ways a pool gate job goes wrong

A gate can look finished and still leave the wrong gap, mounting method, or access arrangement. These are the risks homeowners face when an enclosure is treated as a quick add-on. Each has a matching step in our process.

How we prevent it

Laser measurement before any order

We measure the opening, adjacent fence lines, swing space, and mounting surfaces on site. That gives us the information to price the actual work, not an assumed rectangular opening.

An itemized estimate that holds

Materials and labour are split out in a written estimate valid for two weeks. The price changes only if you change the scope or materials, so there are no hidden charges.

Requirements checked on site

We know the Ontario Building Code and confirm the applicable requirement at your property before the work is priced. A swimming pool safety fence needs the gate and adjoining enclosure considered together.

Mounting reviewed for local weather

We examine concrete, stone, deck, or fence mounting conditions before selecting the approach. Exterior-grade hardware and correct sealing at penetrations matter because water can freeze around a fixing point.

Protection and a final check

We cover planting and nearby surfaces while we work, remove waste, and keep dust down. Your project manager completes the final check and walks the job with you before the remaining balance is paid.

Five ways a pool gate job goes wrong

The opening was measured as a simple gap

A sloped patio, uneven coping, or out-of-line fence can change how a gate fits. Material ordered from a rough width can leave an awkward gap or require a redesign.

The quote leaves out the hard parts

A low number can exclude posts, hardware, surface preparation, or difficult access. The total changes after work has started, when it is harder to compare options.

The gate doesn't suit the requirement

A gate choice without a site review can conflict with the enclosure, latch position, or surrounding conditions. That creates uncertainty when the pool area needs to be secured.

Winter movement affects the alignment

Toronto freeze-thaw cycles and water at fixing points can affect exterior surfaces. A gate that isn't planned around its mounting surface may bind or lose its clean alignment.

The patio is left chipped or dirty

Drilling and material handling near coping, concrete, and planting can leave dust, waste, or surface marks. That is a poor finish for a job meant to make the yard safer.

Services

Pool gate options, handled by one Toronto team

The right pool gate depends on the opening width, the enclosure beside it, and what can accept a mounting point. We build metal posts, frames, and structures in our shop. Glass is tempered and cut by our suppliers to our measurements. Toronto weather makes the mounting surface and exterior hardware worth checking before anything is ordered.

Glass pool gate

A swimming pool glass fence can keep the pool visible from the patio and house. It suits homeowners who want the gate to continue an existing glass enclosure.

Metal-framed pool gate

A metal frame can suit an opening beside a metal fence or where a defined gate edge is needed. We fabricate the metal structure in our own shop.

Gate for an existing fence

Gates for pool enclosures can be planned around an existing fence line, provided the opening and mounting points are suitable. We check those conditions on site before quoting.

Pool gate replacement

A replacement may suit an enclosure with a damaged or poorly fitting gate. We measure the existing opening instead of assuming a new gate will match the old one.

How pool gates are delivered in Toronto

First, we visit the property and laser-measure the opening, adjoining enclosure, swing space, and mounting surfaces. We confirm the applicable Ontario Building Code requirement on site, because the right approach depends on the actual pool area. Within one to two business days, you receive an itemized estimate that separates materials and labour and remains valid for two weeks. Nothing is ordered until you approve it. We fabricate metal posts, frames, and structures in our shop, while glass suppliers temper and cut glass to our measurements. On installation day, we protect planting and nearby surfaces, keep dust down, remove waste, and check the finished work. Your project manager walks the job with you before the final 10% payment is due.

Measure the opening, then give you the price

We price from our own laser measurements, including the surface where the gate will mount. A pool safety fence should be planned from site conditions, not from a photo or phone estimate.

Build and supply to the approved plan

We fabricate the metal structure in our shop. If glass is part of the design, our suppliers temper and cut it to the measurements we provide.

Install, check, and walk it with you

We protect nearby planting and surfaces, remove waste, and complete a final check. The last payment comes after the final walkthrough, when you have seen the finished work.

Projects

Pool Barriers Built Around Real Outdoor Spaces

These completed pool-gate configurations show how glass, fixing methods and top details come together around decks, patios and side access points. Each selection responds to the available mounting surface, the desired sightline and the exterior conditions a pool barrier faces in Toronto.

Open-View Patio Pool Gate

A low-profile glass gate kept the patio sightline open while defining a controlled pool entry.

  • Separate spigots kept the deck edge visually light
  • Core-drilled fixing suited an existing concrete surface
  • Polished glass top edge preserved the view across the patio

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

Certainty comes from the details before installation

Anyone can hang a panel of glass. Antex is different in four ways that show up on your invoice, your calendar, and your final inspection.

The site decides the plan

We laser-measure before pricing because coping, slopes, existing fences, and concrete conditions can change the gate layout and mounting approach.

Measurement

The full scope is visible

Your itemized estimate separates materials and labour and is held for two weeks. It moves only if the scope or materials change.

Pricing
One contact sees it through

One dedicated point of contact manages the job from the first visit to the final walkthrough. You receive an update at the end of each working day.

Accountability
Installation labour is covered

The Construction Agreement includes a written workmanship warranty on installation labour. Manufacturer warranties on supplied materials are passed through to you.

How We Work

From an open pool area to a secured gate

You should know what is being measured, what is being ordered, and who to call when timing changes. The work follows clear stages so an existing fence, patio, or pool finish is considered before installation day. Nothing is ordered from an unmeasured opening.

1

Measure and quote

Your project manager visits to laser-measure the opening and inspect the adjoining enclosure and mounting surfaces. We confirm the applicable requirement on site. An itemized estimate follows within one to two business days, and nothing is ordered until you approve it.

2

Prepare materials

We fabricate required metal posts, frames, and structures in our shop. Glass suppliers temper and cut glass to our measurements where glass is included. You receive an approximate installation date and a written timeline where one applies. If it shifts, we call you.

3

Install and hand over

We protect planting and nearby surfaces, install the approved work, keep dust down, and cart away waste. Your project manager checks the work and completes a final walkthrough with you. The remaining 10% is paid after that walkthrough.

Book a pool gate measurement before you order

Antex serves Toronto and the GTA with free on-site estimates for qualifying projects. We'll measure the opening, review the mounting surface and adjoining enclosure, and send an itemized estimate within one to two business days. There is nothing to sign during the visit, and nothing is ordered until you approve the scope.
